Senior Living Bridge
Senior Living Bridge Loans were created to help older adults and their families with the cost of assisted living, home care, or skilled nursing on a short-term basis until more permanent financial assistance can be obtained (like the sale of a home).
Funds are directed to care providers such as assisted living communities or home care agencies. In addition to convenience, this also helps protect the older adult from misuse of funds. Some cash can also be provided directly to the family to help pay for living expenses, relocation, incidental and unexpected costs and can be an effective alternative when compared to selling securities or utilizing reverse mortgages.
Programs
Tier 1: Total Peace of Mind
Best for: Families with a remaining mortgage on the old home who want to eliminate all monthly costs to obtain care.
Covers: existing mortgage, community initiation and entrance fees, moving expenses, monthly living expenses.
Tier 2: Transition Plus
Best for: Families who want to protect their savings and need 3-6 months of “runway” while the old home is listed for sale.
Covers: community initiation and entrance fees, moving expenses, monthly living expenses.
Tier 3: Minimum Bridge Package
Best for: Families who have the cash for monthly rent but need help with the large upfront community fee.
